locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]Since 1995, the Social Promotion Foundation works to improve the living conditions of people who are in a situation of high vulnerability, motivated by armed conflicts, natural disasters, etc.<br \/>\nIts activity has been developed in Lebanon, Honduras, Nicaragua, Palestinian Territories, Jordan, Dominican Republic, Peru, Syria and Ivory Coast.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of the Syrian conflict in 2011, Social Promotion has been carrying out an important humanitarian work in the host communities of both Jordan and Lebanon, with the triple objective of saving lives, alleviating suffering and safeguarding human dignity.<\/p>\n<p>In Jordan, the Foundation has set up a clinic for people with disabilities, especially children, in the Syrian refugee camps of Za\u2019atari and Azraq, in northern Jordan, through the provision of physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatments of long duration, in force since 2013-2018. During this period, Social Promotion has been the only Spanish NGO with a permanent presence in the fields. Currently, the management of the clinics is coordinated by UNHCR.<\/p>\n<p>Social Promotion develops its activity, providing personalized medical care, making distribution and maintenance of mobility aids (from canes and crutches to wheelchairs and orthopedic devices); and organizing inclusive activities and raising awareness about the reality and rights of people with disabilities in populations outside the camps.<\/p>\n<p>In Lebanon, the Foundation works with the specific objective of improving the well-being of Syrian refugees and vulnerable populations, through the provision of health services and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in Zahl\u00e9 (Bekaa Valley), and health services for the improvement of mental health in its mental health clinic in Zahle. It is the only psychiatric clinic available in the entire Bekaa Valley, a territory bordering Syria, and the first clinic that follows the strategy of the Lebanese Ministry of alta vulnerabilidad, motivada por conflictos b\u00e9licos, desastres naturales, etc.<\/h3>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left; color: #232323;\">Su actividad se ha desarrollado en L\u00edbano, Territorios Palestinos, Jordania, Siria, Honduras, Nicaragua, R. Dominicana, Per\u00fa, Guatemala, Venezuela, Costa de Marfil y\u00a0 Etiop\u00eda.<\/h3>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left; color: #232323;\">Desde el inicio del conflicto sirio en 2011, Promoci\u00f3n Social ha desarrollado una importante labor humanitaria, en las comunidades de acogida tanto de Jordania como de L\u00edbano, con el triple objetivo de salvar vidas, aliviar el sufrimiento y salvaguardar la dignidad humana.<\/h3>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left; color: #232323;\">En Jordania, la Fundaci\u00f3n puso en marcha una cl\u00ednica de atenci\u00f3n a personas con discapacidad, especialmente ni\u00f1os, en los campos de refugiados sirios de Za\u2019atari y Azraq, en el norte de Jordania, mediante la provisi\u00f3n de tratamientos de fisioterapia y rehabilitaci\u00f3n de larga duraci\u00f3n, vigente desde 2013-2018. Durante este periodo, Promoci\u00f3n Social ha sido la \u00fanica ONG espa\u00f1ola con presencia permanente en los campos. Actualmente la gesti\u00f3n de las cl\u00ednicas la coordina ACNUR.<\/h3>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left; color: #232323;\">Otras actividades fueron: atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica personalizada; distribuci\u00f3n y mantenimiento de las ayudas para la movilidad; y actividades inclusivas y de sensibilizaci\u00f3n acerca de la realidad y los derechos de las personas con discapacidad en poblaciones fuera de los campos.<\/h3>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left; color: #232323;\">En L\u00edbano, la Fundaci\u00f3n ha trabajado con el objetivo espec\u00edfico de mejorar el bienestar de los refugiados sirios y poblaci\u00f3n vulnerable, mediante provisi\u00f3n de servicios de salud mental y apoyo psicosocial (MHPSS) desde su cl\u00ednica especializada en Zahl\u00e9 (Valle de la Bekaa) y
