Together with our local partners <\/span><\/span>Agricultural Development Association<\/span><\/span> (<\/span><\/span><\/strong>PARC)<\/strong> and The<\/strong><\/span><\/span> Lutheran World Federation (LWF)<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and with the financial support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID)<\/strong>, we have launched a new p<\/a><\/span>roject to support young Palestinians in <\/span>acquiring<\/span> quality professional skills and thus <\/span>facilitate<\/span> their access to the <\/span>labour<\/span> market.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With this initiative, we will work to promote the development of agricultural businesses that meet the needs of the local labor market and help young people enter it<\/span>. <\/span>In this way, the technical and professional training of youth will be strengthened<\/span>, taking advantage of the knowledge <\/span>acquired<\/span> in past experiences in this sector and <\/span>in the processes of business<\/span> incubation and acceleration.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Palestinian <\/span>labour<\/span> market is in a state of chronic weakness, aggravated by the current situation of instability, which leads to a situation of job losses and declining incomes, which in turn causes an increase in poverty and even an increase in food insecurity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Youth<\/span> job<\/span> creation<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To address the reality of extreme vulnerability faced by Palestinian youth, <\/span>this project aims to promote economic activities that stimulate youth employment (self-employment and salaried work) and economic development<\/span>.<\/span> The initiative will be implemented in the rural and peri-urban areas of Jerusalem and Ramallah through vocational training programs that promote quality employability with an innovative approach in the agricultural sector<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this way, the goal is not only to stimulate youth employment but also to develop the ability to address food needs that may arise due to the current complex situation<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lines<\/span> of<\/span> action<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To support young people in improving their economic resilience through access to employability and entrepreneurship, <\/span>we will focus on three key areas of action.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The first of these aims to increase the capabilities of young people, <\/span>establishing<\/span> two paths: one for those who wish to start a business, and another for those who prefer to seek employment<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The second focus area will focus on training participants who want to develop their own business<\/span>. To support them, it will be based on <\/span>previous<\/span> experiences and will follow a training itinerary already tested and based on the Business Canvas Model <\/span>methodology<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, the third focus area includes support for business initiatives through a process of business incubation and acceleration that can serve as a catalyst to help participants be employed by these entities<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
