\nOn April 27th<\/strong>, the V Fair \u201cEstrellas de la DOC Rioja\u201d<\/strong> was held at the Logro\u00f1\u00e9s Circle in the capital of Rioja, organized by the Rioja NGO Kaipacha Inti<\/strong>. Every year, this event raises funds for a cause, and this year was aimed at supporting the work of the FPSC<\/strong> from its physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic and its safe space in the Za’atari (Jordan) Syrian refugee camp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this Fair thirteen wineries were united with a charitable end. Those who wanted to collaborate, after paying a donation of \u20ac 30, were able to taste the “star” wines from the wineries of the Rioja Designation of Origin (DOC) that participated, each one had two or three wines references.<\/p>\n

The FPSC provided graphic and informative material so that the participants could learn about their work in the Za’atari (Jordan) Syrian refugee camp since 2013, with actions prioritizing refugees with disabilities, with special attention to women and children, through personalized medical care; distribution and maintenance of mobility aids (from canes and crutches to wheelchairs and orthopaedic devices); inclusive activities; and sensitization about the reality and the rights of people with disabilities.
