MADAD Project:<\/strong> “Reducing Economic Barriers to Accessing Health Services in Lebanon (REBAHS Lebanon).”<\/a><\/p>\n

Since January 2018, Social Promotion Foundation<\/strong> develops this project in consortium with its partners, International Medical Corps UK (IMC)<\/strong> and Premi\u00e8re Urgence-Aide M\u00e9dicale Internationale (PU-AMI)<\/strong>, in close coordination with the Ministry Lebanese\u00a0 of Public Health (MoPH)<\/strong>, to improve access to quality services in primary health care, community health and mental health services for Syrian refugees and other vulnerable populations in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, Akkar and Tripoli (North Governorate), Beka\u00b4a, and the South Governorates.<\/p>\n

In the frame of the project, Social Promotion Foundation is responsible for the provision of Mental Health services and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) from its specialized clinic in Zahle (Beka\u00b4a Valley), besides specialized Mental Health Crisis Management, Psychological First Aid and Problem Management for Frontliners belonging to Ministries and NGOs involved into the management of MH cases.<\/p>\n

The project is funded by the General Directorate for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) of the European Commission<\/strong> and is based on the general objective of the European Union Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis (\u201cMADAD Fund\u201d)<\/a>\u00a0 of responding to the \u201cneeds of Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries, as well as the communities that host refugees and their administrations, particularly in terms of resilience and speedy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n
