By the end of July, families of Villa Encondada\u2019s community will only need to open their household taps to have drinking water. Since the community\u2019s foundation, 20 years have passed without any access to this fundamental right for the population.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the project \u201cImproving the living conditions of 8 rural communities in Santa Cruz department, Bolivia, through the provision of potable water\u201d<\/a>, co-funded by the Community of Castilla y Le\u00f3n and FSPC, in January 2014, many successes have been achieved. First, through the drilling of a deep well for water capitation, and then through the construction of an elevated water tank with a capacity of 20.000 liters and the creation of local water cooperatives. Currently, the extension of the matrix network distribution and household connections are undertaking. This work will be achieved in few days.<\/p>\n

Local institution participation and local population support is fundamental for the project\u2019s leading. Our social partner in this project is the Association for the Eradication of Poverty (APEP), a unifying agent which heads the work\u00b4s organization.<\/p>\n
