Under the motto \u2018The legacy of future generations<\/span>\u2019,<\/span> Macarena Cotelo, Project Director of the <\/span><\/span>Social Promotion Foundation,<\/span><\/span> has <\/span>participated<\/span> in the second edition of <\/span>BeDoCare<\/span>, which this year took place from 10 to 12 October at the headquarters of the ISE Business School, in S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference, which brings together 250 representatives of NGOs, <\/span>universities<\/span> and companies from Latin America, seeks to promote reflection on the contribution of civil society organizations, <\/span>academia<\/span> and the private sector to economic and social development, always with impact and in a sustainable manner.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reflecting on the legacy to be left to future generations necessarily involves discussing the responsibility of the agents involved and the positive and lasting socio-environmental impact that they can generate when they have a clear purpose <\/span>regarding<\/span> social needs and problems. The promotion of decent work is an essential condition for the future of young people and social progress.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus, the program included plenary sessions with experts in the mornings and parallel sessions in the afternoons, aimed at addressing specific topics of interest to participants in areas such as economic sustainability, non-profit communication, strategic <\/span>innovation<\/span> and leadership.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a summary, Jos\u00e9 Paulo <\/span>Carell<\/span> from ISE Business School summarized the content of <\/span>BeDoCare<\/span> S\u00e3o Paulo 2024 in three ideas: falling in love with the problems and not the solutions, professionalizing work and telling stories to amplify the impact.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

REDI <\/span>strengthens<\/span> its<\/span> Alliance<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the celebration of <\/span>BeDoCare<\/span>, the organizations of the REDI Network<\/a> have met in the capital of Brazil to strengthen commitments and strengthen ties between all the representatives of the Association.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus, the meeting was attended by Amalia Gonz\u00e1lez and Claudia Mendoza from ANDECU<\/strong>, Maria Esther Portillo from PROMU<\/strong>, Miryam Elizabeth Benitez Fari\u00f1a from ADREXTA<\/strong>, Maria Mercedes Ju\u00e1rez and Ing. Pablo Casado from FUDI<\/strong>, Javier Gastelu from AYNI<\/strong>, Alejandra Costas from SENDAS<\/strong>, Karol Dayana Valencia G\u00f3mez and Mar\u00eda In\u00e9s Luna Toro from the Los Valles Foundation<\/strong>, Pilar Morales from the <\/span>Junkabal<\/span><\/strong> Foundation<\/strong> and Macarena Cotelo from the Social Promotion Foundation<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, participants exchanged experiences and reflected on REDI’s role as an effective network for sharing information and good practices among its members, an <\/span>objective<\/span> that the organization has pursued since its creation.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the highlights of the meeting were the need to adapt to new technologies to improve collaboration or explore new avenues of funding, all with the aim of promoting a more dynamic and responsive environment to the needs of members, underlining the value of REDI as a platform for the exchange of experiences and the development of projects.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>organisations<\/span> AYNI, SENDAS and ANDECU also expressed <\/span>a very positive<\/span> assessment of their collaboration with Spanish NGOs such as <\/span><\/span>Fundaci\u00f3n <\/span>Promoci\u00f3n<\/span> Social.<\/span><\/span> They all agreed that it is a truly enriching work and learning experience, which confirms the network’s potential to promote strategic cooperation between member institutions.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
