Specifically, we have worked on <strong>streamlining the water system<\/strong>, and also in nearby homes, improving hygienic conditions and, consequently, the services provided by the Hospital Mangunde. Moreover, the First Aid Unit which was completed in 2013 will be correctly equipped.<\/p>\n<p>This lended a proper health care for 30,000 people attending annually, 60% of them women and children.<\/p>\n<p>For over 10 years The Nando Peretti Foundation has been working in different parts of the world supporting programs to promote human rights, defense and education of children, medical research, protection of the cultural and artistic heritages, the conservation of nature and environmental protection<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chibabava District is located in the southern region of Sofala (Mozambique), one of the poorest in the country due to the sixteen-year civil war (1976-1992) and natural disasters that periodically plague.
