In a context where 30% of the Peruvian population lives in poverty, this project aims to contribute to the sustainable development of 10 vulnerable communities in the Cullanmayo micro-watershed, Cutervo, Cajamarca.<\/p>\n

The primary goal is to improve the production and productivity of the agricultural sector while diversifying income sources, thereby strengthening the communities’ adaptive capacity and promoting the social and economic empowerment of women. This will be achieved through the implementation of sustainable soil and water management practices, the introduction of new crops, and the adoption of agroecological technologies.<\/p>\n

With an integrated approach that prioritizes environmental sustainability and gender equality, the project specifically aims to promote inclusive access to the right to adequate and sustainable food for vulnerable small-scale agricultural producers. Access to resources and training will be provided, not only to increase agricultural productivity but also to diversify the available food options, thus advancing gender equality, protection, and female empowerment.<\/p>\n

  • A 30% increase in agricultural productivity for 250 producers.<\/li>\n
  • Access to livestock management systems for 100 men and 150 women.<\/li>\n
  • Establishment of 5 irrigation committees led by 70 women and 30 men.<\/li>\n
  • Strengthening of organizational capacities for 80% of the 250 producers.<\/li>\n
  • Presentation and execution of 3 productive business plans with the participation of 100 women.<\/li>\n
  • Increased male participation in domestic tasks for 100 producers.<\/li>\n
