ABOUT US
Social Promotion Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation that since 1987 has been trying
Since June 2001, it has been accredited as a Non-Governmental Organization, and since 2004, it has been recognized as an Entity with a General Consultative Statute before the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.
Since 2005, it has been qualified by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
It maintains a framework partnership agreement with the Humanitarian Aid Office of the European Commission (ECHO) and a formal agreement with FAO.
It complies with all the requirements of control and transparency in the exercise of its mission of the NGO Coordinator of Spain.
to promote human, social and economic development in accordance with the dignity of the people and respectful of the cultural identity of the peoples and social groups.
It is based on a model of “small, agile and independent organization” that allows it to strengthen and capitalize its work and tackle future challenges with a high capacity for management, optimization of resources and cost savings; puts the person at the center of their activities, as protagonists of their lives and of their own development; and understands education as the true engine of change.
