It is with great shock and sadness that we have received the news of the death of one of the beneficiaries of our Agreement in southern Lebanon.
Mohammad, who had just turned 24, had moved with his family in October 2023 from his village of Mays al-Jabal (Marjeyoun) to Ghazieh (Saida), following the degradation of the security situation in South Lebanon after October 7.
With a degree in electricity, he worked as a delivery man in Ghazieh and was currently participating in a solar energy course organized by the Foundation together with the Lebanese association ADR. Mohammad traveled 60 km a day to attend the training with the hope of finding a decent job.
He died, along with his father, in an airstrike in Ghazieh last Monday, September 23.
