El Pais publishes the testimony of the Chief of Mission of the FPSC in Jordan on the situation of refugees in that country

Last Saturday August 29, El País, in its print and online edition, published an article signed by Juan Carlos Sanz, which echoes the plight of Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries and the closure of borders.

Part of the news is  focused on the situation of refugees in Za’atari, which contains the testimony of the FPSC Head of Mission in Jordan, Maria Lopez de Haro, in which is given to know the plight of refugees in that camp, where the Foundation works caring for people, mostly children, with disabilities.

Moreover, on the occasion of “World Humanitarian Day” on 19 August, OCHA Jordan showed a video produced by UN OCHA and World Vision. In it, our colleague Nermeen, physiotherapist in Zaatari Refugee Camp, defends the rights of disabled people (minute1:35).

Also, on the occasion of the celebration, on 8 September, of  “Aid Worker Day”, on September 6, RNE Radio 5 emitted in its “Cooperation is Development” program, “What do the voluntary workers do?”, where our colleague expatriate in Jerusalem , Barbara Drake, participated  , in an interview with Maria Dolores Albiac, to publicize her work in cooperation in the Middle East (minute 4:54).
