FPSC and IRD will organize a performance about the rights of persons with disabilities, represented by the Refugee Theatre Troupe ‘Syria Tomorrow’ of Za’atari

“You, Me, Us, Together: The Rights of Persons with Disabilities” is the title of the play which will be performed in Madaba next the November 11, 2015.

Organized by the Foundation Social Promotion of Culture (FPSC) in cooperation with International Relief and Development (IRD), this performance will be represented by the ‘Syria Tomorrow’ Theatre Troupe of Za’atari, directed by Abu Rafat, known advocate the rights of the disabled, and IRD.

The FPSC partners in the project being developed in Madaba – Rescate International Alliance for Soledad (APS) and the Movement for Peace (MPDL) – also participate in inclusive activities for young people, audio activities for children, and in briefings on the defense of gender violence victims and child protection.

The schedule of the day:

11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. Welcome and introduction of the FPSC and the consortium (by FPSC).
11:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Briefing about the Rights of People with Disabilities (PwD) (by FPSC).
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. ‘Syria Tomorrow’ Theatre Troupe’s Performance.

11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Children’s Space
Inclusive activities for Children (by FPSC and Rescate & JRF)
Audio Based Activities for children (by MPDL)
Child Protection and SGBV information (by APS & IFH)
