“Since 2007, the Fundación Awards recognize individual and institutional social commitment which plays a relevant role in making the world a better place.” (Fundación MAPFRE).


In this clinic, disabled refugees are attended, particularly children with cerebral palsy. Therapy and psychosocial services, as well as technical aids(crutches, canes, wheelchairs, orthopedic aids) are offered to them. From the start of the project, the FPSC has attended around 2.050 people and has provide 70% of them with technical aids.

The other four winners of the Fundacion MAPFRE Awards 2015 are:
Award to a Professional Career (José Manuel Martínez Martínez), for her Majesty Queen Sofia.
International Insurance Award (Julio Castelo Matrán), for Ohio Insurance Institute, for its innovative initiative on insurances and employability and for its transferability of the performance in other countries and regions.
Award to the Best Initiative of Health Promotion, for the Foundation Action Against Hunger, for its project ANEMIA NO, aimed to fight the anemia in the Central Mountains of Peru.
Award to the Best Initiative in Prevention and Road Safety, for the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims (FEVR) for its project “Do not forget the serious injured road traffic victims”.
