“Libya: A smuggling hypermarket” an article by Javier Martín

Javier Martín analyses Libya’s current situation through his article ” Libya: A smuggling hypermarket”.

On the publication of this article in Global Spotlight he remarks that the political instability and the economic crisis affecting Libya since the fall of Dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 have opened the door for opportunistic entrepreneurs to forge alliances with smugglers.

Javier Martín, one of the most experienced Spanish journalists in the Middle East –where he lives and works as a correspondent and reporter for the EFE Agency, being also a member of the CEMOFPSC Advisory Committee– does wisely talk about the delicate situation of that country.
