This project’s goal is to reduce the impact of mental illness in Syrian refugee population in Lebanon, and in the Lebanese population living in the host communities, through a multidisciplinary intervention:
Psychotherapy: Medical consultations (in the clinic and at home, for those beneficiaries who are unable to travel) and psychotherapy if necessary.
Psychotropic Medication: The FPSC team will provide psychotropic medication to those patients previously diagnosed with such needs.
Research and training: A Mental Health Crisis Management Protocol will be developed for “front line” humanitarian workers and there will also exist mental health crisis management sessions/workshops.
