In April 2013, FPSC and the Japanese NGO JEN distributed 2,500 boxes of clothes donated by the Japanese brand UNIQLO to families of Syrian refugees in Za’atri camp, in Jordan.
For the distribution, the priority needs of this group were taken into account derived from a study conducted in coordination with agencies and actors involved in the management of the Syrian emergency: the camp’s NFI (Non Food Items) sector, led by UNHCR and consisting of several aid agencies including Save the Children, NRC, INTERSOS and ActionAid.
