The project will offer to 480 indigenous women, who are victims of “triple discrimination” (gender, ethnic and geographic ones), the access to quality vocational training by means of 30 training programmes specifically designed to face the necessities of indigenous citizens. The courses will deal with three different areas: craftworks, food production and agricultural production, all of them of high demand in the local market.
The training will be implemented by FUDI (Foundation for Comprehensive Development in Spanish), local partner of the Social Promotion Foundation. This one has extensive experience in working with communities and the improvement of their necessities, especially of women struggling to learn Spanish.
