Improvement in the management of complications in childbirth at the San Gabriel health center (Addis Ababa) through the use of advanced equipment

The health center San Gabriel, located in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), serves disadvantaged social groups and provides medical services free of charge or at low cost.

This project aims to help reduce maternal and infant mortality and strengthen the technical team by providing specialized material and training for its use.

In particular, it will allow the acquisition of a team of assisted deliveries by vacuum (vacuum assisted delivery set) and an oxygen therapy device (oxygen concentrator) and the development of the necessary training for its correct use. In this way, 30% more deliveries at the center can be attended.
