At these Christmas holidays, we think especially of all those who are suffering the consequences of armed conflict, in particular in Syria and Iraq.
Thankful for all the support we receive, we are counting on you to continue to help so many people (whole families) who have been forced to leave their homes and have lost everything. But in this dramatic context, the children are in a situation of maximum vulnerability, and they are the ones who take special importance for us this Christmas.
One more year, our Christmas cards collect drawings of children from the Virgin Mary refugee camp in Baghdad. In Iraq, the FPSC maintains its campaign “Iraq: a shout of encouragement”. The shortcomings in this field are many, and meeting the most basic needs of families living in it depends on everyone.
In addition, the FPSC Christmas campaign (www.teatroporlavida.org) aims to build a “Theater for Life” (#teatroporlavida), a prefabricated module, where children, both with and without disabilities, from the Syrian refugee camp of Za’atari (Jordan) can develop the activity of the FPSC “Inclusive theatre”. A very necessary initiative that maintains the illusion of those who participate in it and where it creates participation, psychosocial help, creativity, inclusion, hope for the future… LIFE.
We count on you!
