The FPSC and Fondazione Roma Mediterraneo are launching a project to empower Lebanese women in rural areas

 

 

 

 

 

The project started on November 15, 2013 and will run for 18 months.

The project is located in Lebanon and it’s general objective is to contribute to social and economic empowerment of women as well as curb the high levels of migration, through the creation of employment in the tourism sector. 

 

The Project promotes:

 

  • The professional and business training for women in the tourism sector and in rural areas.

 

  • Strengthening entrepreneurship by supporting women to microenterprise development and access to financial instruments.

 

  • Networking business to increase efficiency and strengthen its capacity to represent and protect their rights.
