On November 20 is commemorated worldwide the Universal Children’s Day, which meets in 2014 his twenty-fifth year of proclamation. A day when the promise was made world children do everything possible to protect and promote their rights is remembered.
In this regard, we highlight the work of the FPSC for children with disabilities, within the activity of humanitarian aid that the Foundation has launched in response to Syrian conflict, that began in 2011, in the main affected countries by war and / or greater number of displaced: Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.

During 2013 and 2014, thanks to funding from United Nations Office for the Coordination of Human Affairs (OCHA), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and private funds from FPSC, there have been four humanitarian aid interventions in Jordan and Lebanon aimed mainly at improving the living conditions of the Syrian refugees with disabilities and vulnerable people, both in host communities, as in the Jordan refugee camp Zaatri paying special attention to children.

Among the activities undertaken recently in Zaatari, the AHS team comprised of two physical therapists, an occupational therapist, a prosthetic technician, a technician of mobility aids and the FPSC equipment with the Head of Mission, a physiotherapist, social workers, the project manager, the field coordinator and the communications officer, conducted an evaluation of seven patients in the clinic that FPSC has in the refugee camp, in the 10th district, and technical aids were distributed to ten.
On the other hand, in Ramtha, the AHS team, consisting of two physical therapists, an occupational therapist, a prosthetic technician a technician of mobility aids, and the FPSC team, consisting of the Head of Mission, a physiotherapist, social workers and project managers, conducted an assessment to fifty-four patients in the clinic Atakaful Society in Ramtha, thirty-two of whom were Syrians and twenty two Jordanians.
With these actions, the FPSC tries to give an answer to each individual situation with the provision of therapeutic services, assistive devices, prosthetics and / or other rehabilitation measures. It also aims to raise awareness about the rights of people with disabilities in the population.
