The agreement 06-C01-009 “Planning and development of ecotourism in the Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Hoa Binh Nature reserve by offering small infrastructure projects, training and materials” which was funded by AECID, ended on May 31, 2012.
However, the work done during the life time of this agreement continues to generate important results, for example in relation to the studies on biodiversity of the nature reserve. This is remarkable when you consider that when the agreement was initiated in 2006, there was no information available in this field.
The article is focused on the endangered wildlife in the Ngoc Son Ngo Luong nature reserve. The obtained information is mainly based on the local knowledge, especially that of the NSNL Reserve hunters.

The work was realized within the framework of the Convention for the elaboration of the study “An Approach to key Extinguished, Threatened and Endangered Species in Vertebrate Luong Ngoc Son Nature Reserve of Hoa Binh Province” and gives an idea of the good work that is being carried out in this reserve and its international repercussions.
