During the year 2017, Social Promotion Foundation has worked in Palestinian Territories, with the main objective of promoting a rural development that
is sustainable and equitable, ensuring the equal participation of women,
and achieving food security, through interventions that directly impact on proper management and access of water resources and promote agricultural development. In total, five projects have been underway, financed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), Regional Government of Valencia and Madrid City Hall, and the Regional Government of Madrid has approved one more whose activities will begin in 2018.
On the other hand, in Lebanon, the priority sector of action has been education, promoting proper professional training for vulnerable women, oriented to employment, thanks to the Italian Episcopal Conference and PROEDUCA and private funds for Social Promotion Foundation. Likewise, the support of
the Real Madrid Foundation has allowed promoting an education in values through sports in two Lebanese schools, through the implementation of its socio- sport model.
Education has also been the main sector in the projects carried out in Kazakhstan, India and Sri Lanka, where, with the support of private funds of Social Promotion Foundation, support has been given to women in vulnerable situations to facilitate their incorporation into work world society.

Campaign “Help the woman of the Middle East to build her future. #BuildPeace”
In November 2017, Social Promotion Foundation launched its Christmas campaign to support, through private donations, the construction of An Nawras Cultural Center in Lebanon, which promotes the empowerment of women and supports the family and youth as a strategy for the creation of social structures of peace, coexistence, and prosperity in the Middle East.
This campaign was also promoted with the celebration of a solidary jazz concert in Guadalajara, which featured the performance of Miguel Sacristán. https://promocionsocial.org/en/nawras/
