The world as we know it today will not be able to continue. At this moment, we are learning lessons that will have to be considered for the future.
In these days we have had to react and comply with the measures that the authorities have implemented in each country.
This virus has affected all people equally in terms of vulnerability, the need for social isolation (where this measure has been implemented), but it also increases the gap between the various countries in relation to the means with which they count to fight and confront the pandemic.
The covid-19 does not understand about countries; therefore, it affects globally but each nation particularly. There is a gap among the developed world and the countries where the foundation works, where a high percentage of the population suffers from a vulnerable situation.
In these countries with little or no resources, the progressive arrival of the coronavirus will pose health emergencies.
The commitment of Social Promotion Foundation is to continue with our projects, adapting them to the new situation generated by the emergence of the coronavirus, by always respecting and complying with the measures that the authorities decree, and contributing to combat the effects of the pandemic in the countries where we work.
With our commitment we want to continue alongside most vulnerable people, and guarantee their food security, raising awareness about hygiene rules for the prevention of contagion, guaranteeing access to water and sanitation, promoting the ability to generate income for their families and face the negative impact of the pandemic, among many other actions.
