This project aims to address the urgent need for comprehensive rehabilitation services for children with disabilities and their caregivers in Amman (Jordan). The lack of financial resources limits their access to dental care, and this project seeks to provide high-quality care at the facilities of the local partner, Al-Hussein Society (AHS).
To achieve this, actions will include providing equipment and materials, restructuring the dental clinic to make it child-friendly, and conducting awareness campaigns on the importance of dental treatment.
The project is expected to prevent complications, diagnose and treat dental issues, and educate both children and their caregivers, directly benefiting 40 children with disabilities and 60 families/caregivers per month, with an indirect impact on AHS staff, university students, and the broader community.
Sustainability will be ensured through the allocation of service fees and participation in courses on inclusive pediatric dental care. Monitoring and evaluation will be conducted through the AHS platform, ensuring the transparency and quality of the project.
