VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering
of young people from Madrid in Occupational Centers
Social Promotion Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with the Council of Social Policies of the Regional Government of Madrid and the Madrid Agency for Social Action (AMAS) to volunteer in two of its Occupational Centers for people with intellectual disabilities: Barajas and Ciudad Lineal.
This volunteering of leisure and accompaniment is done by young people as a dynamic and integrating element during weekends.
Family volunteering
Families of the Las Tablas-Valverde School in Madrid jointly carry out this volunteering at the residence of the Nuestra Señora del Camino Foundation, which serves people with functional diversity, creating a very enriching space for all.
For Social Promotion Foundation is essential
to create in society, and especially among young people, a greater awareness, responsible and caring,
that promotes their social participation, and train them to adequately perform their volunteering, and even become true agents of development.
