Volunteering of youth associations
Social Promotion Foundation works since its inception with youth associations in Spain, with whom it
has signed a collaboration agreement, carrying out and coordinating
volunteer activities and social action and training programs for volunteers. This volunteering takes place during
the school year, in collaboration with other volunteer organizations, and
also in summer, as an essential part, and sometimes as a central axis, of the camps. It also coordinates the European Voluntary Service (EVS), within the Erasmus + program of the European Commission.
Cooperation volunteering
In 2017, Social Promotion Foundation has lent its support to Spanish
youth in the summer to volunteer in Lebanon with Iraqi and Palestinian refugees, coordinated by the Lebanese organization ALDEC, and another in Guatemala, supporting the work that
is carried out from the Ixoqui’ center. One experience gives them a deeper knowledge of the country where they develop their voluntary activity and allows them to establish direct contact with the local population.
Participation in FEVOCAM activities
Social Promotion Foundation
has actively participated in the workshops organized by FEVOCAM “Communication as a tool for social change”, and has collaborated in the “Do you dare?” campaign to promote volunteering among young students from the Autonomous, Polytechnic and Complutense universities of Madrid.
