Promoting the growth of a new generation of peace and for peace in Lebanon

The project aims to prevent violence, foster cultural pluralism and promote civic education in Lebanon through conflict resolution work with students, teachers and parents in schools.

The project has four specific objectives:

  1. A conflict resolution programme designed for teachers in different schools to be implemented in the classroom;
  2. A conflict resolution programme with students from different socio-economic backgrounds, different religions (Christian and Muslim) and different geographical backgrounds;
  3. Creation of a dynamic platform for all students to exchange opinions and views on different topics, including culture, religion, rights and duties, etc.
  4. A programme designed to involve parents in the learning process of their children and to go hand in hand with them.

With this, it is expected that:

  • 816 students will develop different skills in terms of conflict resolution, communication and civic education to spread the spirit of tolerance through interaction with the environment.
